National Economic Blackout Day February 28!  A second Economic Blackout targeting Amazon will be March 7-14th

SHARE FAR AND WIDE! This means refraining from purchasing ANYTHING unless it's from a small business – no gas, no fast food, and certainly nothing from major retailers like Target, Walmart, or Amazon. Help us get the message out! We want THEM to understand that WE hold the power. We'll start with one day, then extend to three, and target specific companies until our voice is heard. Please help spread the news!

Additionally, a second economic blackout aimed at halting purchases from Amazon is planned from March 7 through March 14 by the same group.

WHEN: 
Friday February 28th from
12:00 AM to 11:59 PM

WHAT NOT TO DO:
• Do not make any purchases
• Do not shop online, or in-store
• No Amazon, No Walmart, No Best Buy
Nowhere!

Do not spend money on:
• Fast Food
• Gas
• Major Retailers
• Do not use Credit or Debit Cards for non essential spending

WHAT YOU CAN DO:
Only buy essentials that are absolutely necessary (Food, Medicine, Emergency Supplies)

If you must spend, ONLY support small, local businesses.

WHY THIS MATTERS!
• Corporations and banks only care about their bottom line.
• If we disrupt the economy for just ONE day, it sends a powerful message.
• If they don't listen (they won't) we make the next blackout longer.
