On December 14 we held a very successful Indivisible Santa Cruz County event, Rise, Act, Unite, Your voice, Our Future, at the Museum of Art and History featuring four amazing speakers and 14 local groups that tabled and discussed their 2025 plans with attendees. Now we are announcing our next big ISCC meeting: Indivisible Santa Cruz County General Meeting January 14, 2025 7-9 pm London Nelson Center
The purpose of the meeting is to plan opposition to Project 2025, strategize real actions to fight these harmful policies, and determine how we can help protect vulnerable groups. We will be breaking up into working groups to plan what actions we will take to oppose Project 2025 and Trump’s MAGA agenda.
Project 2025 plans to: Roll back LGBTQ+ rights | Erase marriage equality | Ban the most accessible forms of abortion and limit reproductive health care | Create obstacles for racial justice | Eliminate the Department of Education | Fund private religious schools with taxpayer money | Use religious freedom to discriminate | And more!
